ABOUT ME

My name is Aleston. I am an avid car enthusiast with a penchant for high mileage luxury cars at the bottom of their depreciation curve. If that wasn’t specific enough, I have a particular obsession with BMW’s from the mid 90’s to mid 2000’s. In my opinion, that is the golden era and the sweet spot for cars.

My interests motivated me to dive deeper into the car community and car culture. I created an Instagram account in 2021 that now has a following of 30,000 users and attracts over 4 million views per month.

Over the past few years, my Instagram has become an archive for photos of classic German cars with a sprinkle of my unfiltered opinion. I share photos of my cars and travels, too. Most importantly, my Instagram has become a community for car enthusiasts.

Outside of my passion for cars, I have to credit my career in banking and financial services for giving me a stable and well-respected professional life that allows me to support my hobbies. I have previously worked at TD Canada Trust and American Express before my current position at CIBC.
